FOB China nylon-6 prices for semi-dull and bright grades were $1,511/mt on March 5. This was stable for the day, but down $25 from the previous week. These prices are within the range of tradable indicators heard between $1,481-1,543/mt. The full-dull version was also assessed as stable for the day, but $25 lower than the previous week, at $1.561/mt. This is in line with the tradable indicators heard between $1,531 and $1,593/mt. In the week ending March 5, the Chinese nylon-6 market experienced a price drop due to a slowdown in demand and a decrease in upstream.
