The FOB Korea mark strengthened on May 5. The FOB Korea marker
strengthened on the day. But, firm South Korea origin spot indicators were
few due to the Children's Day holidays. Asian Toluene was up $10/mt on the
day and down by $40/mt on the week. weekly at $830/mt. Demand in the
US appeared to be slowing. Trading sources confirmed this. Industry sources say that the Asia-US arbitrage has been
eliminated. China inventories have remained stable or even increased over the
past week. Domestic prices were relatively higher than those in the rest of
Asia. Market sources reported that east
China's inventories were unchanged during the week, at 52,000 mt. South China's
stocks rose by 5,000 mt to 17,000mt....
