Prices hold steady at $1,500/mt / Prices rise at the highest level in 12 months

The FOB US Gulf Coast spot export prices of acrylonitrile were unchanged from the previous weeks in the week ending April 23, while the domestic contract levels were also stable. The spot price has remained stable for the fourth consecutive week, despite reports that the supply is tight on the market and inventory is low. ACN spot at $1,500/mt is flat week-on-week, and marks a 12-month record. The current spot price is at its highest since April 25, 2023 when the prices rose to $1.505/mt. The contract for domestic ACN was calculated at 82.75cents/lb. The market is still stable despite the limited supply.
