Asia LPG prices fall as crude oil prices slip / H1 June differential increases

CFR North Asia LPG fell on May 10. This was despite the fact that the front-month July ICE Brent crude oil futures were down less than $1/mt. The fall in CFR North Asia LPG values occurred as physical cargoes traded at the close of the Asian trading day. The front-cycle CFR North Asia June-delivery H1 propane was $601/mt, down $10.50/mt in one day. The difference between H1 June-delivery and the June contract price is $62/mt on May 10. This was down from $69.50/mt on May 9. CFR North Asia sold H2 June delivery propane for $599/mt, down $12.50/mt from the previous day. The premium of H2 to June contract price was $60/mt. SwissChemGas bid 23,000 mt propane for H1-June delivery at the June FEI + $14.50/mt which equated $598.50/mt. Glencore...
