CFR North Asia LPG gained during the
session on May 8, but lagged behind a $21.12/mt rise in the July ICE Brent crude
futures contract, indicating a slow start of the trading week. The front-cycle CFR North Asia June first-half
delivery propane was $12.5/mt at the close of trading on May 8. This is up
$12.5-18.10/mt over the previous session. The H1 June
CFR North Asia premium against the June contract price increased by $4/mt in
the previous session, to $24/mt. Butane for H1 June delivery was
discounted by $2-3/mt compared to propane. On the
physical market, no offers or bids were seen on May 8 and no trade was heard. BP bid $23,000
