- June MOC trades reached 250,000 barrels- Average outright prices rose
slightly in JuneUS Gulf Coast MTBE's outright price
fluctuated in line with the underlying contract on June 30. The differential,
however, remained stable due to a lack of interest. MTBE at August RBOB + 8.7 cents/gal. The outright
price increased by 4.15 cents, to 263.19cents/gal. In June,
250,000 barrels were traded as part of the Market on Close process. This is up
from 175,000 in May. US Gulf Coast MTBE was traded at an average
premium in June of 3.60 cents/gal to front-month NYMEX futures RBOB, down from
5.30cents/gal in may. In June, the average flat price was 258.07
cents/gal. This is up from 255.30 in May. Futures for
energy rose on the day. The August RBOB increased by 4.15
