US MMA Spot Prices Fall amid Stable Weak Demand / Prices for 20 mt trucks heard at 110-114 cents/lb / Roehm to start production in Texas in December

According to sources, the US spot methylmethacrylate market continued to see prices fall during the week ending Oct. 23. This was due to lower indications for domestic material as well as a stable weak demand. US spot MMA was 111 cents/lb, DDP US Gulf, on Oct. 23. This is down 3 cents from the previous day. It's moving towards the bottom of a pricing indication that ranged between 110-114 cents/lb, DDP USG, for 20 mt truck, due to weak demand and falling spot prices across Europe and Asia. A spokesperson for Roehm said that the new Bay City, Texas facility will start producing MMA in December.
