Asian LPG prices gained on Feb. 28, despite
April ICE Brent crude Futures' $1.52/mt drop from the previous Asian close
in thin market activity. After Saudi Aramco published the March term
Contract Prices below February termCPs, Asian LPG prices increased. Front-cycle CFR North Asia H2 February-delivery
propane rose $2/mt at $688.5/mt. The March CP discount for H2 March
CFR North Asia propane was Feb. 26 at $31.5-36.25/mt.
This was steady over the previous session. H2 March-delivery propane up at
$688.5/mt on Feb. 28. 28 versus a $9/mt premium in the previous
session. This was in line with the propane/butane spread established by Aramco
in March CPs.
