Asia LPG prices increase as crude oil prices fall / H2 June differential increases

The CFR North Asia LPG Market rose on May 16, despite a slight drop in the front-month Brent crude futures for July and the low trading volume during the day's end. The front-cycle CFR North Asia June delivery propane was $609.50/mt, up $5/mt in one day. The difference between H2 June propane delivery and the June contract price is $70/mt on May 16, up from $68.50/mt on May 15. CFR North Asia H1 delivery propane was $608.50/mt, up $4/mt in one day. The premium for H1 delivery propane to June contract price was $78/mt. Only one physical bid had been heard during the day's trading and it was still in place at the Asian close.
