CFR North Asia LPG fell on June 12 by less
than the $3.09/b drop in August ICE Brent crude oil futures from the previous
Asian closing. Market conditions were seasonal
during the summer months in North Asia, and demand for propane was yet to be
seen from Chinese buyers. The front-cycle CFR North Asia July
H1 delivery propane was $468/mt on June 12, a drop of $11/mt for the day.
Meanwhile, the H2 July CFR North Asia price was $471/mt – a loss of $11/mt. The H1 July
CFR North Asia premium over the July CP dropped $4.50/mt in one day to $31/mt.
