Crude oil prices rise on the day / A bid for June CFR China at $29/mt was heard against June MOPK

The Asian benzene price fell by $8.33/mt to $1025.50/mt in May 14 amid weakness on the aromatics market. The front-month ICE Brent Futures rose 11 cents/b compared to the previous session, reaching $83.11/b by the Asian close on May 14. The naphtha C+F Japan mark was down $3.25/mt from the previous day to $663.875/mt. Toluene, on the other hand, was down $13/mt the same day to $882/mt FBO Korea. The styrene Monomer CFR China mark was down $6/mt/day at $1,132/mt. According to a source on the market, South Korea's supply was tight as crackers preferred LPG feed to naphtha.
