The May CFR North Asia LPG price declined
slightly on May 17 but not as much as the July ICE Brent crude oil futures,
which fell from their previous Asian close. This was due to a slight
improvement in buyer appetite. The
front-cycle CFR North Asia June H2 delivery propane was $513.5/mt, down $1/mt
from the previous day. The H2 June CFR
North Asia premium against the June CP remained unchanged at $26-31/mt. Butane H2 June was priced at $5-6/mt less than propane. This
discount narrowed by $1-2/mt in a single day. On May 17, there were two bids, one offer and no trades
