Sources said that the fundamentals of demand and supply were unchanged for the week, with very few bids or offers being heard. Prices on the Chinese domestic market were stable over the past week. Demand is unchanged. "Supply is tight but demand is not increasing, so there's no reason to raise offers, despite the limited availability of domestic cargoes," said one producer. Some participants were cautious due to the rebound in naphtha feedstock prices. The benchmark C+F Japan Naphtha Marker was up $10/mt on the day to $675.50/mt by the Asian close of May 27.
