US acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene at 82.3cents/lb delivered rail car basis on June 26, down 3.2 from June18, mirroring the downward movement in upstream styrene spotpricing over the week to June 25.One US-based source said demand in the ABS market has beenincreasing and producer prices have remained stable in the US.The drought in Altamira, Mexico has had no impact in the USmarket as the market has been relying on "alternative" supply,the source said. The force majeure at the Altamira facility may push up prices. The gap between importsand domestic products is the narrowest that we have seen in a long time.
