$5/mt on the day to $1,125/mt CFR unv1/China April 5. Sources said that supply is tight for June and May delivery
cargoes due to Asia's turnarounds. A
trader in Singapore stated that downstream demand remains a concern with little
improvement likely soon. The trader said
that China's unwillingness to purchase finished polyester products is a
concern, while the export markets remain weak. Sources said that the recent rise of crude oil prices could
