glycol imports prices remained unchanged for the session of February 27th. Sellers stated that operating rates are between
50% and 55%, as the production margins remain low. The April
ICE Brent crude oils futures contract increased $2.17/b to $83.26/b by 4:30 PM
Singapore time (0830 GMT). Feb. 27, 1.50 Cents lower than the previous week. A
discount of $55 to $70/mt (2.5 to 3.2 cents/lb to the Asian spot price based
upon price indications) was offered at a discount price of $55 to $70/mt (55%
to $70 GMT). According to market players, the US MEG supply
increased in the week to February 24, 2017. On February
20, a 30,000 mt fixture was heard...
