June Choctaw prices drop 0.125 cents/lb in trade- Ethane
levels down after a seven-week rise



US
Gulf Coast spot prices were lower on May 19, due to a weaker ethane price
upstream and a smaller trade. Based on trades heard at this level,
forward-month June Choctaw was assessed at 14,75 cents/lb. Choctaw May
ethylene was assessed as 14.5 cents/lb, FD Choctaw. This is 0.125 cents/lb
lower than the previous day's price. May Mont Belvieu was assessed at 17.25
Cents/lb, FD Mont Belvieu. This is a 0.25 cent/lb decrease on the day. Upstream
ethane fell 2.27% to 21.5 cents/gallon on May 18, a drop from the seven-week
peak of 18th May. It is still 8% more than the previous week, when it was
valued at 19.75 cents/gallon.
