Asian MTBE was up $33/mt at $959/mt FOB
Singapore March 13, in line with firmer crude oil. ICE Brent crude futures rose $1.93/b to $83.01/b
at Asian close March 13. Phillips 66 beat PTT's March 13
Market on Close (or MOC) assessment process. This resulted in the MTBE factor
rising 0.009 points to 1.175. On March 13, the FOB Singapore
marker was valued at $959-975/mt. Market sources say that demand for
H2 April spot cargoes of MTBE in Southeast Asia was slightly bearish due to
numerous spot tender offers in the market for April-loading. Thailand's
Bangkok Synthetics sold 3,300 mt MTBE loadings April 6-9 in a tender, at a low
