Asian toluene prices fell by $16/mt between
May 12 and May 15 at $825/mt, weighed down by the H1 June supplies. Prices were
stable on the Chinese market with $850-870/mt for CFR China. They remained
unchanged at $880-900/mt for FOB China due to firm domestic prices. East China prompt ex-tank supply rose Yuan 50/mt
per day to Yuan 6,890/mt. This is equivalent to $853.56-873.95/mt based on
import parity. A market source reported that India's domestic
ex-tank prices weakened to Rupees 80/kg for ready stock, and June-delivery
cargoes discussed at even lower rates. On May 12, a
trade for any June shipment of 2,000 mt CFR West Coast India was heard at FOB
