Asian MTBE prices fall on lower gasoline / China bid-offer heard between $670-$700/mt FOB China / China market participants will be on vacation next week

MTBE FOB Singapore Asian was down $1.50/mt from day to day, at $721/mt. The MTBE FOB Singapore Factor remained unchanged at 1.108. On Sept. 27, the price of 92RON gasoline was down day over day from $77.20/b to $77.01/b. The crack between 92RON gasoline and Brent crude oil also decreased from $5.42/b to $5.10/b. The spread between the FOB China MTBE bid and offer from Singapore traders is still wide, according to a producer. A loading offer for October/November was around $700/mt, and a purchasing idea was around $670/mt. This spread was still in place, and the source stated that there wasn't much room for trades with Singapore.
