agreements- VLGC rates continue to rise beyond $100-120/mtThe month-one CP June propane swap was
$487.50 at May 17, down by $1/mt on that day. The CP June propane
exchange bid/offer was $487/$488/mt. The
June CP is $67.5/mt lower than the May term CP. The June/July CP Propane swaps backwardation was $6/mt,
unchanged on May 16. Meanwhile, the July/August CP Propane swaps structure has
a contango of $1-2/mt, down 50 cents/mt. On
the physical market, BP offered a 44,000 mt LPG cargo evenly split for June
22-31. FOB Middle East was $459-475/mt. This
offer valued the FOB Middle Eastern discount to the Saudi CPs at $25-30/mt. The traders said that Saudi Aramco had not yet announced
acceptances for term lifters' nominated June-loading Cargoes. They now expect...
