- Upstream market weaken- Differential stable on dayUS Gulf Coast spot MTBE fell on June 9 due
to a decline in NYMEX RBOB. The
MTBE differential versus front-month July RBOB remained unchanged on the day,
at minus 3.0 cents/gal. The US consumer
price index is expected to be released next week, ahead of the US Federal
Reserve meeting on June 13-14. Analysts
also anticipated a fiscal stimulus from China to help support the waning
economy. NYMEX front month crude oil
settled $1.12 down at $70.17/b while ICE front month Brent settled $1.17 down
at $74.79/b. NYMEX front month RBOB .The NYMEX front month ULSD settled
$2.3610/gal lower, down $2.88 cents.
