TPE demand was subdued mainly due to the weak performance of the automotive industry. The European and North American automotive markets have not seen the springtime recovery that was expected. Meanwhile, the Asian market has continued to be dull after the festive season, leading to a depreciation of prices. The market conditions differed across regions.
