The US acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene spot
price decreased 3 cents on the week on June 21. spot ABS at 105-107/cents/lb. The domestic truck market was reported to be
trading material at 85 cents-$1/lb (1,874-2,204/mt) pending further
confirmation. Last assessed US Gulf Coast Styrene at $815/mt
on June 20. This was stable for the day but down $84 from the previous week. On
June 16, the price had reached its lowest level in almost two and half years. Styrene was
in low demand in the US due to a decline in packaging and construction. This,
according to sources, has led to a drop in demand for downstream markets over
