Asian styrene monmer closed $8/mt higher on
the day at $1.109.50/mt CFR China, and $1,099.50/mt FBO Korea February 23 due
to weaker indications from domestic China markets, despite falling inventory
levels in east China. According
to market sources, inventory levels in east China decreased slightly but
remained high. Yuan 45/mt fell to Yuan
8,510/mt ex-tank. This was approximately $1,069.61/mt if you consider
import-parity. Unv1: A producer stated
