The Asian MTBE Fob Singapore was up $5.65/mt from the previous day to $981/mt, while the MTBE Fob Singapore factor remained unchanged at 1.155. On April 23, June Brent crude futures also rose $2.18/b, day over day to $88.19/b. On April 23, there were no offers or bids on the Market on Close process. A Singapore-based trader stated that he was not interested in purchasing high-priced FOB China MTBE shipments, as his positions are well-covered until June. Sources in the China market said that traders from Singapore made more enquiries on April 23, regarding FOB China cargo.
