On May 5, Asian isomer grade mixed xylene
dropped $31.50/mt from the previous week, falling to $930.50/mt from FOB Korea.
It then fell to $953.50/mt from CFR Unv1, and $15/mt from CFR China, resulting
in a PX-MX price spread of $91.50/mt. This was a reduction of $13.50-18.85/mt. East China prices
were also under pressure by the end of last week, as traders sold cargos
to prepare for large imports. A
