As
crude oil prices continue to fall, the Asian benzene market saw more selling
interest. The FOB Korea May laycan cargo, which was offered at $880/mt
towards the end, brought down the FOB Korean benzene marker down to $880.67/mt
by March 20. The H2 April/May physical structures widened to $5-6/mt more
backwardation. This follows an H2 April bid at $896/mt, which was against an
$893/mt May offer that existed at the time. ICE Brent crude oil futures
dropped $5.10/barrel in the previous session and ended at $70.34/b around 4:30
PM Singapore time. Although there were indications of CFR China basis
