EastAs the supply of Asian butadiene increased,
prices continued to fall. They fell by $20/mt per day and $100/mt per week. CFR China butadiene prices
down $20/mt per day to $680/mt on June 9. This is the lowest price since
January 12, 2022 when it was $660/mt. Trading
sources reported that deepsea deals were available in Asia even though the
arbitrage window had been closed on paper. This was because suppliers outside
Asia were exporting their products to relieve their inventory pressure. Sources on the market said that ex-US cargo had been traded
for around $650/mt CIF Northeast Asia/China, for arrival in August. Meanwhile,
a 7,000mt cargo coming from Europe was also available for delivery in...
