Asian butadiene prices fell between $10 and
$20/mt per day, May 25. This was due to a rise in supplies from Southeast Asia
as well as a decline in demand by end-users. S&P Global Commodity
Insights showed that the CFR China butadiene fell $10/mt per day, to $830/mt on
May 25. This is the lowest price since December 15, 2022 when it was $790/mt. Two sell tenders from Malaysia were issued, allowing spot
supplies to continue from Southeast Asia. On
the market, a 2,500 mt Malaysian cargo for loading between June 17-25 was
