On June 28, Asian butadiene prices were stable at $1,580/mt CFR China. On a weekly basis, the butadiene CFR China price was unchanged. The bullish trend in Asian butadiene appeared to be fading amid increased supplies and weaker futures rubber in China. In the week beginning June 24, more deepsea cargo fixes were reported for August arrivals in Europe in the mid-$1,500s/mt CFR China. Some sources stated that the cargo quantity was 10,000 mt while others reported an additional 7,500mt. Spot prices were reported to be around $1,600/mt CFR China/Northeast Asia for July's business.
