On Nov. 8, Asian butadiene fell $90-$95/mt amid rapidly falling market sentiment, dragged lower by increasing spot supplies. Asian butadiene fell $100-$115/mt from a week ago. CFR China butadiene was down $90/mt from day to day, at $1300/mt, on Nov. 8. This is the lowest price since Feb. 28, when it was $1260/mt. FOB Korea Butadiene dropped $95/mt, at $1260/mt, during the same time period. The Asian butadiene markets sentiment declined rapidly in the week beginning Nov. 4, as spot availability for December was seen across the region. This included Southeast Asia, China and Japan.
