EastAs the supply of butadiene increased,
prices continued to fall. The Asian butadiene price fell by $20/mt per day and
$100/mt per week. CFR
China Butadiene Price down $20/mt Day on Day at $680/mt, the lowest since
January 12, 2022 when the price was assessed as $660/mt. Trading sources reported that deepsea deals were available
in Asia even though the arbitrage window had been closed on paper. This was
because suppliers outside Asia were exporting their products to relieve their
inventory pressure. Sources on the market
said that ex-US cargo had been traded for around $650/mt CIF Northeast
