Feedstock Solutions Prices on the recycled polyethyleneterephthalate (PET) market in Brazil remained stable during the week ending September 4, despite a tight supply of material and difficulties in transferring costs to downstream products. Sources say that bale prices for bottle bales have stabilised after a steep uptrend. They reached their highest level ever. Source: "Recyclers cannot absorb any more increases." Post-consumer PET bales of clear bottles (95/5) were assessed at Real 5,20/kg, DDP Sao Paulo. This was stable for the week.
