Asian Benzene: FOB Korea marker continues to rise
following US prices- May/June physical
distribution widens even further- FOB Korea surpasses CFR ChinaSources say that the FOB Korea benzene
marker for April delivery was higher at $1,017/mt on April 14. As the arbitrage
to US prices remains open, the FOB Korean marker was supported by an increase
in US prices. The DDP US Gulf Coastbenzene mark for
April delivery was higher on April 13 at 385 cents/gal or $1,152/mt. The interest
for cargoes loading in May and June remains strong, with the highest bid
standing at $1,020/mt for the second-half of May, and the lowest offering for
cargoes loading in June, both at $1,010/mt, as of the Asian close on Sunday,
