Asian Benzene: Rising amid mixed performances among aromatics complex / Styrene drops, MX and PCX rise / China's Fuhaichuang closes aromatics production in Gulei during reformer trip

The Asian benzene price rose during the trading session. The FOB Korea marker closed $2/mt higher, at $873.67/mt on Nov. 8. As of the Asian closing, Brent front-month futures fell 10 cents/b at $74.87/b. The naphtha C+F Japan mark at $659/mt fell $5.5/mt during the trading session. On other adjacent aromatics market, the styrene Monomer CFR China Marker at $1,030/mt is down $8/mt for the trading session. The isomer grade paraxylene and mixed xylene markets both rose during the session. Both increased $4/mt, to $404/mt, FOB Korea, and $834.67/mt, CFR China/Taiwan, respectively. Sources suggest that CFR China markets have concluded a 3,000 mt shipment from Southeast Asia with a loading date of December at a discount of less than $20/mt to the December Weekly Mean of Korea Base Price (wMOPK)....
