FOB China PVC Prices were $5/mt Lower Day on Day at $640/mt For ethylene-based PVC, and $620/mt For carbidebased PVC on March 5th. Ex-China offers were available in Southeast Asia and India. This lowered spot prices by $20/mt over the past week. CFR Southeast Asia PVC prices fell by $20/mt per week, to $720/mt on March 5. Southeast Asia's PVCmarket has also been impacted by an influx of US origin materials. Ex-US cargo is said to have traded for $680/mt CIF Vietnam. "Domestic demand continues to be weak and we are yet see any upward signals," a Chinese merchant stated.
