recovery in China and slowing global-economic growth, market sources said. Asian
paraxylene down $32/mt on the day at-$978/mt on May 12.-The Asian PX marker was
trading below $1,000/mt for the-first time since Jan. 12 when it was assessed
at $992.33/mt, S&P-Global Commodity Insights data showed.-The Asian
paraxylene market has been crimped "possibly-because of [falling] crude
prices [and] very weak forecast for-downstream [demand in China]," a
trader in China said.-Crude oil prices have dropped as weak economic data
from-the US and China has weighed on the global demand outlook,-S&P Global
