Asian MTBE FOB Singapore drops $27.3/mt in a week / MTBE Factor drops on Week / Vitol offers Decloading cargo

The Asian MTBE price fell by $27.30/mt from the previous week to $691.70/mt FOB Singapore, while the MTBE FOB Singapore Factor dropped from 1.059 - 1.020 during the same time period due to weak demand for December loading FOB Singapore cargoes. During the MTBE Market on Close Assessment Process (MOC), Vitol provided 2,000 mt of MTBE for December loading at $699/mt, but there was no buying interest in the market. The FOB China market was thin, with little activity and a large gap between buyers, sellers and cargoes loading in January. This last occurred earlier this week, when the price range for these cargoes was $670-$700/mt.
