In the week ending July 5, the Asian glycols markets continued to grow amid rising crude oil and bullish sentiment. Chinese MEG prices increased by Yuan 74/mt on a week-on-week basis to Yuan 4,712/mt, while DEG was up Yuan 15/mt on a week-on-week basis at Yuan 5,515/mt on July 5. The price of September ICE Brent futures increased $1.65/b during the week, to $87.50/b July 5. Sources said that the market sentiment improved during the week of July 5 and supported prices.
