The Asian benzene markets ended their
session with low activity levels March 3, due to few directional signals that
prompted participants not to move. Bids were very sparse and there was no
offer for outright price. The FOB Korea benzene marker climbed
almost $10/mt over the previous day to $943.67/mt March 3. Trade momentum
seemed to be steady in Asia, but not outside China. A few
Southeast Asia benzene cargoes had been offered in the week. The tender
was closed on February 28. The cargoes were offered for March
