Due to an increase in upstream markets, US
Gulf Coast spotbenzene was higher than usual on April 3. Based on a trade that was
heard at this level, April DDP benzene was 368 cents/gal USG April 3. This is
an increase of 5 cents. Crude futures rose
after OPEC+ announced further production cuts for 2023, surprising markets. However, gains were limited by markets assessing the
possibility of higher oil prices increasing inflation fears. NYMEX front month crude was $4.75 more at $80.42/b. ICE
front-month Brent was $5.04 higher, settling at $84.93/b. NYMEX front month ULSD settled at 2.6626 cents more at
