Market participants reported that Asian caprolactams were stable during the week ending May 9, due to limited discussions and stable fundamentals. The price movement of feedstocks was relatively muted in the week leading up to May 9. The FOB Korea mark at $1,036.67/mt is $2.67/mt higher than the previous week. Ammonia prices remained stable at $430/mt week-on-week. A supplier from Northeast Asia stated that "current levels of production are very low but there is no inventory pressure at the moment - our stocks are healthy."
