African polypropylene prices rose in the week ending June 12th due to increased container shipping costs. The CFR North Africa PP raffia price is $1,160/mt. This represents a $30/mt increase on the week. Demand in West Africa was also weaker ahead of Eid, whileoffer prices were higher due to associated freight costs.
