Asian ACN: Prices hold steady despite decline in Chinese market / Potential increase in output dampens the market sentiment in China / Limited availability of spot supports market prices

A market source said that downstream producers selling feedstock in the domestic market are causing the price to fall. A trader stated that several sellers were looking for export opportunities due to the decline in prices in China. However, producers outside China did not change their offer prices week over week because of limited spot availability on the market. "We are nearly sold out for March supplies, with no inventorypressure for further sales, hence keeping prices stable," aproducersaid.The price decline in the Chinese market did not impact thedollar-denominated market, as producers kept offer pricesunchanged. Buyers tried to negotiate lower prices, refusing the high offer price.
