Acetic Acid: Indian prices for acetic acids remained stable or slightly firmer. Some market sources claim that the market has already bottomed. Ex-tank domestic prices at Kandla port and Mumbai port were both firmer, with Rupees 34.75 to 35/kg. Market sources reported that a balanced inventory of 24,130 mt in Kandla kept ex-tank talks rangebound, and spot inquiries active. In December and January, loading offers ranged between $375-$380/mt for CFR India. LC 90 day with counter buying interest was heard at around $370/mt. The traders stated that there was little room for a fall with FOB China prices at $310/mt. Many traders and end-users were engaged in contract negotiations to cover the year 2025.
