Indian acetic market declined on the week due to low interest from buyers despite lower prices. CFR South Asia acetic acids price dropped $10/mt from the previous week to $380/mt October 17. The assessment was below November loading offers of $385/mt from a seller, for LC90 days normalized at $380.38/mt LC30 days. Above a November buying idea at $370-$375/mt LC90 days normalized at $365.56-$370.5/ mt. CFR India. India's domestic ex-tank prices of acetic acids were also lower, with levels around Rupees 34.5-35/kg in Kandla port and Rupees 35.6-36/kg in Mumbai port. Acetic acid inventories at Kandla were recorded at 27,463.72mt on Oct. 15. This was down from 33193mt recorded Sept. 30. However, this did nothing to support the domestic market.
