Asian ABS: Tepid demand continues weighing on prices- Mixed reactions from producers- Chinese traders eye export

markets weakened in the-week to May 10 amid lethargic demand, with recovery yet
to-be seen.-East China domestic price levels were heard continuing to fall-amid
poor demand, according to sources, to around Yuan 9,500--10,900/mt.-Some
producers were heard adjusting prices downward, while-others kept prices at
current levels to prevent further margin-erosion.-"We are keeping our
offer levels, but we might need to sell at-lower levels. Profitability is still bad at current levels,
and we don't-see a need to sell at lower prices," a producer said.-Amid
the supply glut in China, some traders are eyeing
export-opportunities.-"We're offering FOB China prices at levels above
$1,350/mt," a-Chinese trader said.-However, a producer said some are
