saw some relief in the week to May 3 as feedstock prices softened. The styrene-monomer CFR
China mark was $1,029/mt down $32/mt from the previous week. Meanwhile, the
acrylonitrile CFR Far East Asia assessment was flat at $1410/mt. Producers mostly kept their offers at the same levels, as
they waited for cues to come from the Chinese market when it reopens on May 4. ABS prices were flat for the week, at $1,340/mt FCL China,
and $1,365/mt FCL China on May 3. Asian
