Asian acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene prices remained stableon the week July 17, as producers report stable demand, whilecontinued tightness in container freight markets have kept pricessteady despite lower input costs for producers.the ABS CFR China and CFR Southeast Asiamarkers at $1,445/mt and $1,465/mt, both stable on the week onJuly17.On the feedstock front, input costs for Asian ABS fell, withboth acrylonitrile and styrene monomer closing lower on theweek. Feedstock costs have fallen $18/mt according to calculations by. Butadiene was stable at $1,650/mt CFR China on July 17 while acrylonitrile fell $25/mt, to $1,245/mt CFR Fareast Asia. Last assessed July 16, The price of Styrene Monomer dropped $12/mt on July 17 to $1,130/mt CIF China. According to market sources, the tighter supply in container freight markets has also supported prices.
